Place Carp on a cedar plank.
Cook for thirty minutes.
Throw the carp away and eat the cedar plank!

I tried Red Snapper on a Cedar Plank once. I thought it was ok, but the cedar over powered the mild fish pretty bad and the wife wouldn't even eat it.

Of course, I've never eaten a carp.
