Caterpillars on my Dill

Looking it up, it appears to be the black swallowtail. It's very pretty and hasn't touched any of my other plants, but I assume I need to pick them off.

Black Swallowtail is right. Haven't seen one in a while, they aren't super common here but they do come by.

But they will eat your dill, so it's up to you... take em off, put them on some wild carrots or something if you don't want to kill them. I'm guessing you just want to be rid of them ;) The good things about caterpillars on your plants is you can easily pick them off. I think they will feed on a lot of plants in the carrot family (dill, parsley, carrots, wild carrots, etc).

Not as bad as the tobacco hornworm at least!
