I hung in a tree (Aero Hunter) for 4 hours this afternoon over a FRESH Rub Line in Oak/Cedar woods between a Pasture and thick cover High ground.

Saw a few squirrels...shot at one (with a Recurve Bow) but it was farther than I thought...missed him by a foot.

I've had fun this season. Blew a couple a good opportunities...saw a Bunch Deer before gun season opened. Then nothing.

I doubt that the weather is going to cooperate in the morning.
Will be a drag not to get out the last day.
CONSIDERING GOING TO Kentucky.
I've got a friend with a Deer filled Farm.

Good luck if you go. I sat in a tree from dark until dark on New Year's Day and saw ONE deer all day, right before sunset and she was in the one place I couldn't shoot because a house was downrange. I was overlooking CRP full of fresh deer sign. I will be back in the morning but hunting from the ground so as not to make noise when I set up.

I skipped it...the weather forecast was calling for 20mph winds and rain this morning...DIDN'T HAPPEN. Oh well.

Let the post season scouting begin!
