I generally like rainy days as long as i can stay dry. Usually see good buck movement. Today hasnt disappointed s9 fsr. Have seen 0 does but 3 bucks so far. Spike a 4 pt and a decent 8. Hopefully they keep getting bigger :) with the rain pounding its gonna take a good one for me to get soaked

Had a 2 min Mexican standoff with a 4 point...his buddy was in the bushes. 35 yds from me out in the path. Of course MZ was aligned cause I was carrying in a heater for my wife for next weekend gun opener. Just stood statue still...he couldn't wind me.....but I did have an estrous wick dangling from my boot...took a couple of steps toward me then trotted off. Poured some buck urine under a cedar nearby and before I could get up...heard something coming up behind me on the ridge. B hopefully they'll be back.....

Open ridge top with some wheat clover and turnips overlooking two inside corners surrounded by four foot grass then hardwoods and cedars
 
Just had another young buck come in. He didn't know what to think about my buck decoy. Filmed a little of that. He eneded up getting close then flagged and ran
 
Decided to hang at the house with the family today. I've been seeing 90% of morning movement on our farm happening in the woods. They've been hitting our bean field right at dark.good luck fellers!

Nothing better than seeing deer. I spent September and October bow hunting and didnt see squat. Started seeing deer ever since black powder opened and now I'm pumped!!
