Got a Red Dot scope for my slug gun. I had a red dot scope on my cross bow and it worked great. One red dot and arrow hit exactly where it was pointing. My new scope for the slug gun however has a red dot in the center and one on the left side. What is the purpose of the dot on the left side. The book with the scope makes no mention of it and can't find anything on it on the internet. I thought it might be for elevation but the slugs hit wherever the center dot is pointing whether or not the dot on the left is aligned or not. It is bothersome to see it there. Anyone have one of these ?

I am guessing you are getting an unwanted reflection from the original dot do to a defect internally in the scope. I have a Leupold red dot..........only one dot.
