Bow Hunters: Stand of Choice?

I hunt private and public. I use my API Bowhunter everywhere. Sometimes my gut tells me to climb just a tad bit different each time so I don't want to be limited on a fixed stand. It's worked for 20 yrs. :)

I like the hang on because you don't make much noise when climbing....and with the ropes that you can set up and clip into on the ground, safety isn't an issue! I think the biggest challenge is setting them up, I usually take my son for safety purposes. I love my climber and feel much safer in it, but I make to much noise when I climb a tree! Either way I can't wait to hang some stands this spring!

hang ons. I got rid of my climbers. the new safety ropes and lightweight sticks make it easy to put up a stand. The Summit hang ons are pretty good, and you can get steel or aluminum.
