I am currently looking to get a muzzleloader for deer season and i have never fired or bought one and I was wondering which brand would provide the best bang for my buck(pun intended)
there are alot of good ones and i'm sure the optima that these guys are talking about is great but i have the triumph and can tell you first hand it is great, good luckKratos said:thanks to all of you for your input on this post and i will consider all of these. i was considering a thompson center triumph bone collector but it is a little to pricey for me right now considering i just bought a new high powered rifle lol.

try and find a good used knight. they can be had usually at around $150 at the most. if its not 209 you can buy the conversion kit for 50 bucks.
I used a knight for years and now have a tc encore. the encores are pricey but i love mine.

Yep, loud bang when the barrel blows.....
Get an Omega or a Knight.
