This rub combines the flavors of sweet and heat. You can adjust the heat by using mild or medium chili powder. If you really want to make spice it up, then add an extra tablespoon of cayenne. This is a perfect rub for great BBQ Beef Ribs.

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Total Time: 10 minutes

Yield: Makes about 1 cup

Ingredients:
1/4 cup paprika
1/4 cup mild or medium chili powder
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup ground black pepper
1 tablespoon cayenne
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon salt
I have used this rub with good results

If you get the long rib variety you can eat an entire package yourself. Not a lot of meat on them.

But smoke them low and slow. You might even consider wrapping them with some Worcestershire sauce in the foil to help the process towards the end. But dont wrap them until they atleast get to 170.
