moisture. i have never in my life seen a pelletized sub pull moisture from the air as this does. i popped 3 primers this morning and nothing. could have taken a does, but i also had a 120ish 8 ptr come out also. tried another primer on him and nothing. unloaded the rifle and the pellets fell apart, so i took my quick loads outa my vest and they fell apart too.

mind you, i always keep my rifle loaded until i fire it. i have kept my rifle with 777 powder loaded for 3 months and it never failed to fire.

calling IMR-hodgdon and tell them about it. i wonder if they tested these pellets for moisture draw. 3/4 inch groups are nice but it dont do you no good if the rifle dont go bang!!!!!

Might be the problem that way with the Blackhorn too from an earlier post.

might i add that due to migraine headaches i have only had this rifle load in the woods 2 times this week. but there was heavy fog on this mornings hunt, and a lot of moisture in the air. i had to keep wiping my scope lens off there was so much.

i will also never own another scope without anti-fog coatings.
