I was a late bloomer i guess... i didn't start deer hunting till age 24...I am the only hunter in my family...kinda picked it up on my own.....
 
I don't think I killed my first deer until 10 years old. That was when I was first allowed to carry a weapon on the hunts we would go on.
I used to go and sit with my dad when I was five or so.
 
14. About to turn 55. My brother in law took me. Killed a doe with my recurve and a spike with my 30 30 that year.

50. Actually I hunted deer for a couple of years before that but very little (hunted small game from about age 11). Killed my first deer at age 50 on the 50 acres that I bought that year. If my count is correct I have now killed 61. I guess my next goal will be to shoot may age. I'm 70 now, so I have some work to do as my age increases. :-)
 
14 or so, hunted with a 12G slug gun at first. Few years later, once he saw I liked hunting a lot, my grandad bought me a Remington 700 ADL .270 from the local Kmart. I killed my last three bucks with that exact same rifle.
 
I was 10. Back when you could hunt around airports I killed my first deer at 10 on Rockwood airport. it was standing on the runway when I shot it nice 8pt I was using my dad's Remington 7600 270. I remember it like it was yesterday that been 26 years ago

My first deer was on my first hunt when I was 11. 90 pound doe. My cousin put me in a stand with a Browning BLR 308 and told me to shoot whatever I saw. I'd been rabbit, squirrel, coon, dove, duck and quail hunting as long as I can remember but my father and grandfather didn't deer hunt. My twin brother killed one with him later that year. The next year they turned us loose on my grandfather's 350 acre farm. We had no clue what we were doing but we killed a bunch of deer and a few nice bucks over the next couple years.
 
Started in 98 at 12. Killed a deer my first 2 hunts. Spent the next couple years figuring things out. Killed my best at 15. Still figuring it out lol.

I was about 14. Am 57 now. No adult in my family hunted seriously and it was just me and my cousin who started deer hunting. We had to beg some adult to drive us to the woods the 1st couple of years because we were too young to drive and back then you had to go somewhere else to deer hunt because deer numbers were so low in most of the state. I honestly do not remember my 1st deer either because of the chaotic nature of those early hunts. :) I do know that I was 28 when I finally got a buck decent enough to have it mounted and by today's standards it's laughable. It was very memorable however because I got it with my 460 Weatherby and handloads with the Barnes original style bullet in 300 grain weight and 120 grains of IMR 4350 for somewhere around 2,900 ft sec.
 
Dad started taking me each year somewhere around 13-14 I think. Took a couple seasons to get a kill. I'm 30 now and still learning every season.

I was 10 when I first started and will be 38 soon. I believe most people from that time will be around that age because of hunter safety requirements at the time. My daughter started when she was 9 and is now 10 and has killed 3 deer already. It is funny to me how the times have changed. They did not have much gear for hunters when I first started out. Now I think she has better stuff than I do.
 
10 when I deer hunted. Squirrel, rabbit, dove way before that. Probably 6 or 7 for small game. I'm 39 now and still love it.

My dad carried me deer hunting when I was around 11. Killed my first deer, a doe, when I was 13. Then killed my first buck at 15. First buck has been my largest so far. I'm 45 now. First buck is my avatar image.
