Anyone hunted Chuck Swan this fall ?

Heading down to Chuck Swan in 10 days for my annual 2 day deer season ( always put in for a draw hunt, so I can take my neighbor deer hunting and camping a couple of days). This year we got the big peninsula. Was there a couple years ago and appeared deer herd was on the decline. Anyone hunted it this year ? If so how's it look ?

I have hunted it in years, but I did speak to a game warden last week who used to be over it and he said although the quantity of deer is down the quality of bucks is better than ever

I've seen some huge bucks in there. Haven't actually drawn it in a couple years. Use to be easy to get not anymore apparently

It's no longer a bonus buck so I quit putting in for it, good luck.

Ill be going down to hunt the 10th-11th. Hope to see some decent deer. I will have 3 or 4 in my group and gonna try to set up camp in the first campground. Good Luck!

We will be there, Thursday afternoon if all works out. If the rain holds off we will be camping in the camping area above the TWRA cabin office.
