Anyone else out this morning? In a ground blind with my oldest son this morning. Been here since an hour before sunrise. Staying pretty dry and the rain is finally tapering off a bit. Haven't seen anything yet, but thankful for the time with my boy regardless.

You're having as much luck as we are. This is beginning to feel like one of those mornings I should have slept in. Gonna give it a couple more hours and regroup for this evening.Rain here but none on the couch

Heavy rain came through as I was in the shower. Got out here at light and it's not too bad. No rain and will be cooling off throughout the day. No deer yet. Have a gobbler hammering? - usually hear a couple each fall, but this dude is on fire

Rain has passed our area....temp slowly dropping....light breeze....no deer sightings from stand yet ...saw several driving in this morning.
Nope! Was gone Wednesday through yesterday and leave out again Monday so laying in the bed with my wife drinking coffee and watching some Christmas show with her.
Careful in there…that's how little ones come along
Negative. Rain supposed to be out of here by noon so might get another evening sit in before the wet week ahead. Good luck all!

Been in the blind since5:45. Seen a young but promising buck and about 45 minutes later a lone slick head. Hopefully movement gets better....

Just had a really good buck tagging behind a doe come by. Had the crosshairs on him, but couldn't tell his age through all the brush. He was about 100 yards away. Finally some rut action in Hickman. December 3rd - only 3-4 weeks behind schedule.

I wish I was, with the forecast and family stuff today, I decided not to go......big mistake again. This is the biggest of 5 bucks i've had on cam this AM chasing does around. My ground blind is the back right behind him.

I've saw one smaller doe, 2 coyotes, and 17 turkeys. Oh, I haven't left the couch.

Rain has quit in Western Wayne, sun occasionally peaking thru, extremely still. Temps not falling yet. Doe, fawn & 2 coons so far. Grandson said first coons he'd ever seen while hunting, of course he wanted to whack them

Dude we are so far bahind in Lyles it isnt even funny. I know folks will say it isn't so but good luck explaining how we have more deer sign and sightings in the last 7 days than we have had all season combined. I ain't complaining. Our big blocks of pines are holding a lot of does right now and cruisers are moving in and out if you can see them through the thick stuffJust had a really good buck tagging behind a doe come by. Saw 3 does crossing the road as I drove in late this morning, nothing yet while in the woods.
Fog is rolling in here in eastern Roane county.
