Good looking dog looks like it's been around for awhile. I have been hunting a young cur female this year After many years of hunting hounds (coon/squirrel dogs) I'm really impressed with how she handles. I Never have to carry a lead when hunting with her

Ol' Scooter is just 5yr. old, he's still got a lot of hunt left in him!...Scooter's handling is one of the many things that makes him the dog he is...He aint nothing but a big baby that flat knows how to tree a squirrel/coon and how to make it look easy!

Scooter hunts out about 200yds unless squirrels aren't stirring if not then he threads on in to about 450yds if needed....of a night he hunts about 300-400yds, if he hits a coon he will go where the coon goes whether its 300 or 1000yds.....everyone brags about dogs going 500 or 600yds to tree a squirrel, but I'll gladly take a 70yd tree over that any day. :)
