My dad, Lil brother and myself made our yearly hunting trip to west Tn. The weather was a bit of a worry but we didn't drive that far to sit in the cabin. Thursday morning had a decent 6 or 8 slip by in the thick stuff and didn't get a shot. Dad missed a doe Thursday night and my brother got a cool 50 sec video of a bobcat. Friday morning was wet and my dad getting over a stomach problem decided to sit it out. By 9 am my brother and I decided to call it without seeing a deer and go get dad to do some scouting/driving went to an area never seen (I had looked at the topo) but we liked what we seen. Got set up by 2:00 and at 3:15 seen a deer come out of the thicket in front of me and seen a lil bit of tine and good body. He turned and went back into the thicket and reappeared at 35 yds I seen the good frame through the scope then found my way to the front shoulder and squeezed. He turned and ran by the stand in front of my at 10 yds and seen the blood and caught a glimpse of tine. I thought I had shoot a decent 8. Txt them and met them at the truck and we wnt back to start tracking as the rain started to fall. Found him at 80 yds with an amazing blood trail.
