Abu Garcia 6500s service.... FYI

So I decided to add another carp rig and I went and purchased a Abu Garcia 6500s from Academy ( I prefer to have a bait clicker on my carp rigs so one of the reasons I prefer the Abu Garcia round reels for this application)... Got home, put it on a rod I had set aside for it and set out to fish that evening... When I went to set the real up with the setup, No brake knob... and neither of the washers below it...

Got home, sent an email to Abu Garcia, they responded and asked for a photo of the receipt, sent it to them... got a shipping notification the next day from them saying the parts had been sent....

Just figured I would let you know I had great service from them... no questions asked, took care of the issue quickly.

For those of you who have not tried carp fishing... it is a blast... nothing like catching fish and the smallest generally always over 10 pounds

Me and a friend of mine used to carp fish all the time. We would fish under Calhoun's in Knoxville where people fed them all the time. We caught some monsters. A can of corn and 12 cans of Coors. Ahhhh, the good ole days.
