All the rest are of the buck we called Moose. One trail cam from summer 2009 and his sheds from this past spring included. Glad that one of our guys finally got him, as he definately was on the the down hill slide.
We have seen him (off season), got pics, and have seen his sign for years, but this is first time he was ever seen in daylight during hunting season.
Taxidermist pulled jaw bone and aged him at 7 1/2-8 1/2 years old. He said that he was the oldest buck that he had ever come thru his doors.
One thing that caught my eye was how much his neck had shrunk since the pic taken on 11/30/10 standing in scrape.
Also had a 5 1/2 year old 8 point killed Monday!
