This is a 1966 Mercury Outboard, w/ owners manual and gas tank. Used very little through the years. It is a twin cylinder, 6 hp. I just pulled it out of garage and have not started it for a few years. I know it will run, but I suspect it will need a new water pump impeller.

I'm putting it for sale for $200.00 as is. When I get time, I will get impellor and change lower end oil. Price may go up a then.

It is a neat littles motor. All die cast aluminum. No plastic on the outside of this thing. I love antiques and old motors and this is a collector item. I never used it, just liked it. I think it still has a lot of life in it for light use.

Brunswick Tenn.

We are west of Lakeland and north of Bartlett. This would be in the north east area of Shelby Co..

I'm going to get a new fuel line, fuel filter and oil today and will try to start it.

It's on the other end of the state from me, so logistics of getting it here will be too complicated, so I think I'll pass. Thanks.

A little Marvel Mystery Oil in each cylinder, new gas and oil and it started on 3rd pull. Goes into fwd and rev with no problem. Will order water pump impellor today and will take new pictures once it running again.

I am not putting this thing back in my garage, it needs to find a new home. I will end up taking best offer.

I could be wrong but I think Mercury went to white paint in 1961-63 then Black paint in 1964 on. To me that makes it older and cooler! I would buy it if I was not 250 miles from you.

Here is the cover of the original owners manual. It is hard to read, but I think it says 1965-66.
