It's been a notable sweetcorn season and still right'much left to pick (whatever the critters don't get).
Yes and as typical, it's simply a race against them and deer from here on out. We get what we get and they get what they get and that's it. Parents (retired) pick about every 3-4 days.Nice,got any coons?
All of the above.Dumb question about coons. What do they do when they damage the corn? Do they pull the ear off and eat it on the ground or eat it on the stalk? Do they ruin the whole ear or can part of it be salvaged?
That's a lot of damage. I would have thought it was deer to mess up that much.
Wow, never knew about beaver damage also.Coons will climb up the stocks and break them over . Beaver will haul them off back to the water and you will think someone is in there cutting it off.
