Looking for suggestions for a .243 bullet for deer....that's actually available. The rifle has a 20" 10 twist barrel. Probably need to keep it at/below 90g. I would love to find some Swift Sciroccos, but that's just not happening. Any other suggestions...that are available?
Thanks

Bullets only...not looking for loaded ammo.

95 grainers have shot lights out in every 20 in 10 I've owned, ballistic tips in a 243 just flat out kill

Disclaimer says it wants a 1:9 or better twist rate........Ha. Nosler says 1:10 is just fine

BTW here's my 1:10 twist Rem 700 ADL a few years back. Enjoy

Worked up a load over 30 years ago using 35 gr. 3031 under 100 gr. Hornady SPBT. SHot a lot of rounds to work it up and groups were all sub .750 killed everything it hit. Rem. 700 ADL, Glassed recoil lug, floated barrel.

Nothing flashy but when you go bang there will be dead stuff

Yep. My wife and daughters have used the 100 grain interlocks over 42 grains imr 4350. Most the deer they shot with them went less than 30 yards. Here is as little better price on them https://www.bluecollarreloading.com/products/hornady-6mm-100gr-btsp-2453

Ended up ordering a few boxes of Norma 100g whitetail ammo(mostly for the brass). Sighted in scope today, then shot a 1" 5 shot group. Good enough for me. This is going to be my still hunting through the woods gun.
When I get enough brass empty, I have some 70g hammer hunters that I intend to load for it.
Thanks all for the suggestions.

I gave up on finding Partitions and will be loading Hornady 100 Interlock BTSP. Just moved to TN and my loading gear is still packed up so I have not had a chance to test them yet. Speer 100 BTSP are very accurate my in Ruger and the Speer 165 BTSP is my absolute favorite deer bullet in .30-06 and .308, but I was underwhelmed with the 100 BTSP in .243 with the one deer I shot with it.

I'm working with (developing a load for) the 100g Norma oryx and the 70g hammer hunter.

You will more than likely find the hammers are the easiest load development you have ever done. I have shot them in quite a few calibers and can usually be below half moa in under 15 total shots for load development. If you don't already have one I recommend getting a lee fcd. They don't always need a crimp but it can definitely help with accuracy with them.
