If you do these things you absolutely will find sheds.
#1- Dont scout, when you leave the truck your main goal is to find and inspect every white colored tine tip corn stalk and decaying sticks in the woods.
#2- Hunt on overcast days and 24-48hrs after rain. Antlers are hard to find on sunny days. Overcast skies make a antlers pop. Reason i like hunting after rain is the most recent tracks are obvious and you can very easily narrow down the deer herds by walking the fields finding fresh tracks then walk em back to bedding.
#3- Timing, Most people see sheds being found and want to run out and blow through the best spots when the antlers are still on the bucks'. Run cameras and let them tell you when the main drop is. As of 2/13/20, 95% of bucks are still holding. On average March1-March 18 is the main drop on the spots i hike. If its public land i go nearly each morning im off to beat competition but have discovered this year i got beat to a real good 3 pt shed i was really wanting. Hold off on private farms.
#4 Carry Binoculars they save time and walking
