man had a tough morning. Heard a 10-15 birds all together gobbling but once they hit the ground that was the last i heard them. decided to go get some breakfast and give it the ol midday try.

had 4 working but would not commit so ended up making a big circle around them. Had this one all alone while making the circle so set up on the edge of the field and he just could not resist coming to check it out. No decoys needed the set up was perfect. we were just on the other side of some old corn stalks so he just HAD to come through them to see what all the fuse was about. Shot him at 30yds and 1 flop and stop

2 year old with 10inch beard and 1inch spurs. Prob 20-22lbs.

I had the landowners newphew with me and i really wanted him to shoot but he was aiming the wrong way and the bird was on us quick so i was nervous for him to try and turn and shoot.

turned out well because after the fact i found out he forgot to load his gun lol
