Been chasing this bird from the first day of the season, missed him once. He won several days and almost had him yesterday.

This morning setup about 250 yds from his roost and just sat back and waited. Gobbling good even on the ground. Couple soft yelps he would gobble then walked the other direction to where I could just barely hear him. After about 30 minutes he came back running and gobbling looking for the hen. Well he got too close for the 12.

My best bird to date: 21.5 lbs, 11-1/8" beard, 1-7/16 & 1-3/8" spurs.

I'm done for the season
