Day before yesterday I drilled and tapped my mounting plate.
Got everything mounted and hooked up yesterday.
Went and bought a battery just for the Livescope.
Planned on taking it out after lunch to see what it looked like.
Turned it on and it started up then shut off.
Checked my connections and fuses and all was good.
Turned out the brand new battery was deader than a doornail.
Charged it up last night and she is good to go now.
Waiting on daylight to head out with it.
Pretty excited!
Probably overkill but it ain't going anywhere lol

Just got home from trying it out.
Simply amazing!
Saw fish, dropped a jig to them and watched them swim up to it then turn away.
Changed size and color then watched them swim up and eat it.
Even saw a school while just looking around.
They were 25' from the boat and 6' deep.
Casted into them and sure enough picked a couple off.
Trolling motor battery was dying and the wind got up so it made it tough to get the right position.
I saw enough that I know I am going to absolutely love this thing !!

Me and my brother got out on Reelfoot Wednesday in the fog and cought a few before he went to work at lunch time. We use nothing but live scope now. It addictive to find them and drop your jig down to them and make them bite. Especially getting to use some jigs I tied this summer.

Nice! Glad you're looking it. It's aggravating to see a fish look at a lure and swim away.. but I guess it can be helpful too.
