Bass pro reel repair

Has anyone ever sent a reel in for repair ?
One of my pro qualifiers thumb button broke off this past weekend.
Wondering how sending it in would work versus taking it to a guy in Paris that does reel cleaning and repair.

prolly save you 15 bucks in shipping if you take it to paris, but then youd prolly burn that in gas.

Just buy a new reel.

Help the little man, bass pro is becoming to much like Walmart buddy.

A friend of mine has a reel repair business and it has really taken off. I highly recommend him. Jarrett is a stand up guy and stands behind his work.
