If you don't find someone local call Mark's Outdoor Sports in Birmingham. When I need one fixed I ship it to them. I've always been impressed with their customer service.

I don't anyone just repairs "reels" anymore. You need to go to the manufacture first and see if they have service centers locally. There are reel repair guys that do this but mostly work on upper end brands that are repairable not just china junk. Google Daves Reel repair and Ricks reel repair.

I've posted about this on here before but my 89yr old grandfather repairs reels. People drop them off at Outdoor Junction in Cookeville, he fixes them and takes them back. I'm always amazed that he is still able to do it at his age!
