Or maybe I should say "I've researched this far more than anyone and most lawyers agree with my assessment that the rules just weren't clear enough and they need to change them if they don't want us to cheat. The NCAA has met its match here and will be taken down for good so it will help everyone cheat."
How about I say as the way the rules were written none were broken and the NCAA changed things after the fact so that potentially rules would be broken if they were that way at the time of the incident and are trying to apply that now. Good luck to the NCAA." And actually the particular situation they are investigating isn't actually what the lawsuit is about but it will make that situation null and void if won.

I concur and hence the reason for the lawsuit so they could get a TRO and stymie any possible penalties that could be handed down.
Sure that's a reason but I've read multiple states had the same lawsuit in the works. All of college athletics is about to undergo a massive transformation in some form or fashion from the administration stance. The model we have right now doesn't work

Penalties would be months and psi only a year or more down the road. They haven't even charged UT with anything. They would speak and blah blah blah.

Eight? vols has not received a formal notice of allegations from the NCAA and Plowman goes all Jason Bourne on the NCAA. Not smart IMHO to try and back them into a corner in the eyes of the media. I suspect that little stunt is gonna backfire and now force the NCAA to one up and go all John Wick on the vols. Gonna be some popcorn in the future. :)

Remember, John Wick gets buried in the end, whether he is dead or not remains to be seen.
This is much like the current situation, looks like the ncaa is buried, wheather it is dead is yet to be determined. I feel like this will be different though, I believe Wick is still alive, but the ncaa dead and buried and just doesnt know it yet.

That's why you aren't a chancellor. UT was way ahead on this and dropped this suit in the NCAA before they could charge us and mess up the second signing day which is Feb. you think them asking for it to be heard and granted before Feb 6th is an accident or out of anger? No. It's to go ahead and put them on the defensive and to be able to tell any players they want to sign "look. We've got them beat in court and it's going to all go away and not affect us". The NCAA was already preparing to "go John wick". They were bundling any and everything they possibly could and most of it was things that have already been penalized and over with Luke vitello's suspension for bumping an umpire last year and a basketball staffer that got suspended for 3 games and severed that last year. Minor infarctions but they most likely were gathering all they could to hit UT with lack of institutional control after they found out about the suit. UT lawyers were more than prepared for this. I sure wouldn't go by anything you suspect versus everything that's been said and is out by national media both vol media and all other media. The NCAA is trying to survive and most likely knows this is the end

Since you know so much why not just enlighten us and tell us what actually happened? I really can't tell if you're just trolling at this point, honestly believe you know what's going on up there, or are just DESPERATE to see the Vols go down.

If it was just UT athletics and Plowman coming out throwing haymakers, I'd maybe give you some credence. But seeing everyone who is anyone involved with TN politics also come out swinging combined with Virginia joining the lawsuit makes it abundantly clear that behind the scenes everyone with actual knowledge of what's happening believes UT did no wrong.

Save it! The writing is pretty much in the wall about the ncaa as far as enforcement on nil. They may survive to do things like set scholarship limits but their days of harshly penalizing schools are drawing to a close. I'm really starting to wonder how much college football you actually do watch and keep up with past bama games. You need some proof the NCAA is about to be declawed and loose a lot of the authority?? Here you go. Ps you always saying you are saving receipts is about some middle school level stuff.
