So a Booster giving Nico a jet ride is bad. But a senior asking for 4$ million and getting a 300k Lamborghini or he might bounce is fine. Got it great work NCAA

"While the NCAA's witch hunt in Knoxville continues, Georgia quarterback Carson Beck, who reportedly wanted 4$ Million to return to Athens for the 2024 season (isn't that called pay for play?), reportedly recently bought a $300k Lamborghini."

You don't keep up with sports or headlines much do ya?
I wound up reading later on about the preliminary injunction on NIL. Don't think that was something anyone was shocked by and definitely not when the judge is in East TN.
Doesn't do much to benefit TN aside from allowing them to be out in the open with buying players instead of under the table—the thing about that is there are WAYYYYYY more schools with WAYYYYYYY deeper pockets. The fact that the fanbase is in celebration over the injunction is pretty telling of how desperate y'all are for relevancy regardless of the fact that college football is being destroyed in the process.
You're about to get NFL Lite except the schools with the largest bankrolls are going to dominate the landscape. Start your payroll deductions to the collective STAT or it might be another 25 years before the VFLs win anything of significance!! 😂

It's really a shame you lost your HOF coach when he could no longer pay players under the table and control the market. With NIL, those chargers and challengers weren't worth that much.

im not sure who these schools are with wayyyy wayyyyy deeper pockets. i did a simple google search for ranking collectives and took a look at the first 3 articles from: ON3, oregon footbaall and sports illustrated. All three had UT's spyre collective in the top 3.

bama meanwhile was out of the top 10 in the ON3 and Oregon articles. they were #3 (yet mysteriously still behind those poor hillbillies from knoxville) in the SI article.

from the ducks writer:
"The best NIL collective on this list is indisputably the Spyre Sports Group of Tennessee. On3's article highlighted Spyre's role in one of the biggest stories in the history of NIL: Nico Iamaleava's contract with Spyre that had a total value of 8 million dollars. Spyre has it all: a wide base of boosters, a large balance of cash, and a mission designed to allow athletes to pursue their passions and maximize their profits. What might've set Spyre apart from A&M's 12th Man and Fund is the presence of a creativity that some said was lacking in "the Fund's," processes. One example of this is Spyre's process of having member brands, such as a fast-casual burger restaurant, that can be seamlessly paired with member athletes (perhaps an athlete with an interest in culinary arts), in a way that best suits both parties."

but you're probably right they more than likely just a bunch of country bumpkins with little to no money compared to real schools.

Will deffinatley level the field with bama and others, hence the reason bamers are so pissed, you will not have the upper hand in cheating, you know like the coach having car dealership and giving all the 5 stars new cars, yeah we are excited we have a darn good coach with THE best qb, and we just ncaa to jump in the lake, recruits are seeing who has the balls

Pockets? At least ours are deeper than yours! Did you give your qb 8 million or more?

I wasn't talking about collectives. Collectives don't mean a d@mn thing with the injunction. I'm talking about wealthiest alumni bases/boosters. TN doesn't sniff the top 10.

Maybe recently for Mercedes. Chargers and Challengers for decades.
HOF Coach and evidently the most sly cheater to ever have existed in the coaching ranks. Head coach of multiple major D1 programs, numerous top ranked recruiting classes at 2 of those stops, and never so much as triggered an NCAA investigation in those 25+ years.

Above is the reality of the situation—you're entitled to your opinion though. Also, UT cheated—has now been caught multiple times—and is going to gain the coveted "Repeat Offender" status. Enjoy!
