Recommend a Turkey Vest

My son has outgrown his youth vest. He actually outgrew it last year, but we made it work. Lol. He's now 6'3" and 200 lbs so time to upgrade. I'm looking for something light weight, durable, and not too hot. It's needs a few pockets and a seat. We run and gun mostly and don't carry a whole lot of stuff. It doesn't need all the bells and whistles but something decent that will last him a while.

Great vests and no worrying about the seat. It is attached to your butt and ready to "sit" at any given second. Love mine

I have a ol tom I used for years and now have an alps grand slam ( has the legs that fold out) it's heavy but dang it's comfortable! I seldom wear a vest anymore as I do a lot of walking up and down hills

It's a little heavier than some but I have the ALPS Grand Slam Supreme. Little heavier because of the built in back support system. I like to be able to use that instead of having to find a tree to sit up against if it's not there.

I am a fan of the Cabela's Tactical Tatr also. And yes I like the ability to sit wherever I want and not need a tree. It is a little heavy but at his size and age it shouldn't be a problem.and or has a lot of room.

Nothing better then sniping turkeys off of a corn pile with my reaping fan and
25-06 lol.

There are some good looking ones out on the market now. Knight and hale run n gun, tethered m2, Sitka eqinox, alps long spur but my current vest I've had forever is made by - scent lok- lol. Why. Turkeys can't smell us but it's light and has 2 clips on front that my binos hang from. Absolutely love that. I need a new one desperately but cannot part with that. I wish I could try one of each of those i mentioned.
