Volunteer Army Ammunition plant used to have some weird looking deer like that.

I was told there were some hybrids in that place at one time, years ago. Most of that property went to Volkswagen, I think they have a wounded warrior hunt on the remaining land.

First thought was fallow but I don't think that's right. Sika or a hybrid, if that's possible. Whatever it is, I'd have killed it too! That's a once in a lifetime when no one even knows WTH it is!

If it was killed in TN, definitely a trophy! Most Fallow deer have a prominent Adam's Apple in the upper neck region, this doesn't. My guess is sika, the mystery will continue for me. What say you BSK?
