ALABAMA lost to ALABAMA because of the penalties they caused. You can NOT have 17 penalties for a total of 138 yards and expect to win the game. ALABAMA has not been crushing lower tier teams all season because of penalties and mental mistakes on offense and now they have a loss to a lower tier team. Had they not made all these mental errors the missed kick from Will Reichard to win the game would have never been in play and ALABAMA would have been ahead by at least two touchdowns. Everyone knows this to be true.

Ive said it before..the problem is with Bill O'Brien. He should have been fired at the end of the season last year. But because of his relationship with Bryce Saban wanted to keep some continuity with the staff. Saban should fire him now and take over play calling the rest of the season IMHO.

Saban is the GOAT and will figure out the adjustments. I expect ALABAMA to be back in the top 4 come playoffs. Bank on it.

Tennessee won because they was the better team Saturday plain and simple.

Maybe it was UT that beat the lower tier team? That's after gifting Bama a free TD, throwing a Pick, and getting stopped on multiple 4th downs. And Bammers still crying for the Refs.

Last year that would have been a true statement, but not anymore.
Talked to the Alabama fans I work with and they all said kinda what you did.
Too many penalties and mistakes BUT in the end TN just flat out played and out coached them. (Their words, not mine.)


Should make for a good game to go to next weekend when they play Miss. St. for my first football game.
I'm looking forward to it, especially since part of it will be under the lights.

Yall were pinned to the wall with 40 seconds left on the clock and Will flat out missed the game winning Field goal. Game would have been over. Instead the most consistent kicker in ALABAMA football history missed. And ALABAMA lost the game to themselves and gave the game away right there. FACTS!

No wussy ref crap from me. ALABAMA made all the mental errors on themselves. Bill O'brians play calling was the worse I had ever seen and Bryce Young somehow made some miracles happen even with a sore shoulder and out of rythem for a week. Can't wait to see him fully healthy and the adjustments Saban makes this week. Roll Tide.

The fact is that was horrible play calling. You could have had a 30 Yard FG or left 0 time on the clock.
That big bad Bama offensive went 3 straight passes for ZERO yards ZERO then had to kick a 40yarder leaving to much time for UT.

If your Heisman QB completed 1 of those passes Bama probably wins. If your star HB don't drop the pass on 2ed down Bama probably wins. If your coach was smart enough to call a run play Bama probably wins.

Good coaching doesn't rely on 50yd FGs from a kicker who has a low likelihood of success from that distance. Good coaches play to a team's strengths.
