I have been slowly accumulating pieces parts to start reloading the 350 Legend. What I have been unable to obtain is either Lil Gun, IMR 4227 or CFE Black powders, these are "Unobtainum." I have Reloader 7, and CFE Pistol, but there is no load data for these. I have Winchester cases, both Winchester and Remington small rifle primers and Hornady 170 grain .355 bullets. I looked at 357 Maximum loads but they were using Lil Gun too. Any suggestions.?

Okay-I have zero experience or knowledge to share about the 350 BUT
go here....the manufacturer says the burn rate is similar to CFE Black. And unreal, the powder is in stock

I would read as much as the manufacturer has and then scour the web for someone with experience with this powder. I could not find a 350 load for the CFE Black.

Just for the record, the SW Tactical Rifle powder performs very very well for me in my Ar and my two bolt 223's. Not as fast as H335 but at least as accurate, maybe a hair better.

I just ordered IMR 4227 and H110 from Midway, must have just come in there. Plus tonight I ordered some Hammer Bullets that are 124 gr but .355 diameter for the 350 Legend. Reading some of the Hammer Forum they claim speeds up 2900 with this bullet without excessive pressure. We will see. They say the hammer bullets are pretty good on deer.

IMR4227 and H110 are my favorite two powders I have tried with the Legend

I loaded some 147gr XTP using both, and they both performed extremely good! I have a 24" mgm tube on an encore and a super nice trigger, and the IMR4227 shoots under .200" @ 100

I have finally primed 10 Hornady cases, its been a struggle to get the hand primer tool to work. Its not the tool, it was just me trying to fiqure it out. I now have all three powders, Lil Gun, H110 and IMR4227. Bullets will be Hornady 170 grs. I have Hammer 124s on order. Primers are WSR. With the holiday on top of us already I don't have time to set up the RCBS powder measure and the dies, but it is getting closer to finished. Thanks for your powder advice. Your acuracy was excellent. My Mossberg Patriot should be so lucky. I have to dig out my chronograph now too, since I moved two years ago I have not seen it. I know its down in the garage somewhere.

Pickett, what kind of groups are you getting with the hammer 125 grn bullet? I just ordered some. I have been using 125 grn Speer and they grouped terrible.
