I have only looked at them at the gun shows. I have heard good and bad reviews of them. I think you are better off getting a comperably priced well known brand like a Bushnell, Burris, Sightron, or Nikon.

I bought a Leupold 3x9x40 Rifleman at Cabelas for 169 (free shipping). It is extremely clear, and not overpriced. I have it on my 7600 pump 243. I can double the rifle as a Coyote gun, or a deer rifle.

I bought and used an Osprey 3-12x50 Tactical scope with an illuminated reticle this year.

Good glass, good reticle, good scope.

Midwayusa has some great deals on bushnell elite scopes rite now and to my understanding the 4200's have B&L glass in them!

I just shoot a Leupold Rifleman 3x9x40. Nothing fancy, but it is clear, and that is what matters to me.

Deerkiller, this was my second season with one. It is a 3x15x50 with alluminated reticles. It was crystal clear last year but this year it seemed as if had condensation in it. I think they have lifetime warranties though so you could always send one back. I purchased mine at a gun show an I think I paid 90. It was me and another guy getting one so we worked with the prices.. you get what you pay for.

if your gonna spend money get the best

Yep, get a Zeiss.

Zeiss are good scopes, but they are much bulkier and heavier. The eye piece is big and gaudy, but if looks and weight don't bother you the Ziess are bright and clear. To me the LVX-III's are the complete package.

Get a Minox then, same glass as the Zeiss, weight and ergos like a Leupold.

I prefer AMERICAN made products. Give me some gold rings.

yes. a lot of great scopes out their and i own them all- burris sig., bausch and lomb, pentax, nikon- but nothing i have found can give you the light weight, elegant appearance, eye relief and brightness in a single package like a leupold vx3. but it has to be a vx3, not a fan of the 2's or lesser.

Hate to burst your bubble, but Leupold gold rings are not 100% "Made in the USA". The glass is Japanese.

Zeiss Conquests and Minox scopes are assembled in the USA and that alone is good enough for me since basically nothing is wholly Made in the USA anymore.

I wouldn't be suprized that the Ziess has some non German an American Parts and Glass, all made to there specs as does Leupold and other companies.. Also I prefer to buy from an American Company. ;)
