I use both hand calls and an electronic call. I have had better luck with the open reed hand calls actually. I have called more in with the Primos lil dog than any others probably. It seems to me if they are going to come it doesn't matter too much what you are using. I went this morning, one set, no luck but a big red tail responded and swooped the mojo critter-it was a beautiful morning with the snow flakes looking like big diamonds falling out of the sky.
