I found this pic posted by a member that I cannot seem to find to contact (Uncle Jesse). I bought a Yildiz O/U and don't want to do a swivel less sling. I am curious what type of kit this requires? Thanks for any help, be gentle I'm a noob.
A steady hand, nerves of steel, and a cordless drill. Measure twice, drill once. A short burst with the drill in reverse can help with tear out and bit walking.
You need a pair of swivel studs with wood threads or 1 stud for the butt stock and a barrel band for the front. You will likely have to grind or file the front stud inside the forend so it clears the barrel.
I did the same to my yildiz 20ga. I used a kit that was designed for large caliber rifles. I just put a micrometer on the o.d. Of the lower barrel and found a kit (uncle mikes maybe). Works great.
