just loaded a few 300RUM`s and after loadin "some" 223`s i can`t believe the size of this round,,even after loadin about 16-1700 hundred and shootrin most of them after a few months off and all the 5.56,,,I mean 223`s this thing is just HUGE..LMAO

around 95-99 grains of powder depending on bullet weight and powder, heck yeah its huge! A pound of powder doesn't go far either. I don't really care if a round is effecient, I have never guaged a round by effeciency, but those rounds are extremely inefecient.
