I was thinking about going out there Thursday morning to see if I could find any squirrels. I've deer hunted there before but never squirrel out there- anyone have any tips on finding them out there? Or if anyone wants to go along, I live in Bartlett, we can meet around here or out there. Just looking to get out there and see what's there-
 
Plenty of tree rats in most locations. I would suggest if you are coming in from Lagrange on yager you take the first right which is beasly. Then use the parking pad on the right about 1/2 mile down. Then cross back over the road into the woods. Make sure you bring a compass as you can get turned around. Plenty of hardwoods and its not so thick so you can see tree tops a good bit away. WRbow- thanks for advice, I'll Give that area a close look. I'll have a compass and a GPS, hopefully I won't need them both-
Poser- Tuesdays, Wednesday's, thursdays, and Friday mornings work for me. So keep me in mind if you ever wanna head out that way-
 
I made it out there this morning about 7, I forgot how long of a drive it is to get out there. I parked in the area across from the boardwalk and headed in. I saw about 5 or 6, I was able to get 1 and miss 1, leaves are just thick hard to get a good shot. Wish I woulda had both the 22 and 12 gauge-
