Wideners has them starting at 15.00 per thousand. Anybody have any expiriece with them. Am thinking about getting them for .223 for my AR. They are recommending using the small rifle magnum primers for AR's instead of the standard small rifle.

I have had limited experience with Wolf since the great primer shortage and they have worked fine in my .223. I have just used the standard small rifle primers. They make one specifically for semi auto .223s like the AR I believe. All that I have read about them on other boards has been positive. PH

It has eased some now but during the primer shortage I used some Wolf primers. I never had a failure to go bang. When you can't find what you usually use any match available to start the fire is OK.
