WMA question

I have a question about WMAs. I know you have to have a WMA permit to hunt a WMA but I have never hunted one and was thinking about checking out my local WMA (Pea Ridge.) Do I need the permit to be on the property and check it out and look around or can I wait and get it obviously before I hunt there.

Thanks,

Jon

Just go hunt and tell the warden your cousin hunts it all the time and said you should check it out sometime. 😆

But seriously, I doubt you'd get in trouble scouting before season without a WMA permit.

If you deer hunt in more than one season, and/or plan to hunt a WMA, the annual sportsman is worth the cost for piece of mind to never have to wonder.

I agree I think I will just get the sportsman's next year and be done with it. I do not hunt much anymore but it will be nice just to buy once and be done with it.
