Surely there is someone to take with a tag. We hope to be out there too. If nothing more, breathing the fresh air, walking through the woods and not having swamp a$$ the entire time. Unfortunately, I suspect this will be the last cool/dry air until October.

Been saving my last 1 til the end. Always do. Perfectly Fine if I don't get it .

My restraint wouldn't have been as strong.

Took a long time(killed my first over 40yrs ago ) to get there.
Taking my wife and kids for 20 yrs and not being on the gun cured a lot of that
And I also guide for ducks about 60 days a yr. So that "having to kill" feeling diminishes and the process to which you get to that moment of pulling the trigger becomes the most rewarding part

Oh I get it but at 10 yards he'd have rolled. I don't hunt close by so my opportunities to hunt are limited.
