Nothing better than the original .020" off the lands apparently. But the .020 off was the verification of the .500" 3 shot group from last outing. I got a .270" 3 shot group at 100 yds today. A perfect cloverleaf. I'll post a pic in the morning when my service is better. The load consists of Nosler Custom Competition 220 gr bullets over 68.5 gr of RL22 (book max), WW brass and CCI LR primers. I'm pumped, and can't wait to try it at distance.

Yep, my 06, 243, and 22-250 are all picky about jump. If you load to SAAMI spec the results are disheartening. My 22-250 has the most narrow range but this is with the 60 grain Partitions which are at the very edge of stability with the 1:14 twist barrel.

I sure hope I can DA, so far my crude method of load development has worked to have accuracy out to 600 yds for the 180 gr NBTs and NAB's. No chronograph to know what velocity I'm getting. The only speed I've able to record was at Dead Zero a few weeks ago, getting about a 2045 fps reading at the 600 yd target.
