Our Walmart has the Windham SRC AR-15 carbines in stock now for $799. I had never heard of the name, but apparently after Remington bought out Bushmaster and moved the production away from Maine, the former owner of Bushmaster re-opened the factory with all his original employees under the name Windham Weaponry, so basically it's just Bushmaster with a new name. Looks like a good AR for a decent price.

Walmart is really getting into the AR style weapons. I was at one in VA a couple of weeks ago and they had S&W, Remington, Sig, and Ruger. And they said they were going to be carrying the Colt 6920 in about a month since other stores already had them.

Ours has a Colt M4-looking carbine of some sort for about $1100. They also have a .308 from DPMS that looks like a big Sportical with no fwd assist...think it was about $900.

Its election year. Walmart knows the sales of black rifles will go up.
