Ive seen them from 700 to 1700. All depends on what you want out of it and how quick you wanted to turn it. I personally have one that was my fathers. Mine has a jamming issue that one day ill get to a gunsmith to get worked out. Many of them had a firing pin recall on them years ago. In my opinion they are the best "brush" gun out there for a semi auto or a heck of a truck gun. Light, compact and plenty of power. We used to use round nose 180gr core ocks in them for deer drives and stalk hunting up north. From what Ive been told over the years the 180 grain bullets may be the reason for my jamming issue, Ive been told they were not designed for the 180 and should have only had 150-165's through them. My gun has lots of wear on it and its had well over 2k rounds through it. I started shooting it around 8 years old, killed my first deer at 14 with the iron sites at 236 yards across a field. Mines a 308 like yours but you have the prettier stock, mine is just plain and has 60 years or so of woods time on it. I wouldn't sell mine for nothing but if I cam across the right one for the right price or a different caliber I'd be all over it.

I have one that I have wrestled with selling.
