Just an FYI I was at Walmart in Lenoir city picking up a few things and noticed they had the 3" number 5 shot in and it was 17.97 a box if anyone is looking for it.

well Lebanon aint got them! wish a wally around me would stock some so i don't have to order any online or freaking depend on BassPro

That stores ordering history SUCKS..... has for a couple of years now.... They carry way more/better stuff in the Tullahoma Wal-Mart...

Yeah Tullahoma gets there stuff in quicker and has more selection. At the risk off hijacking this thread and driving it in the dirt, :D Did you see all the hog bait they had there a couple months ago. Are there hogs down there?

I don't get over that way very often.... WM carries alot of crap I just SMH about...

well i can say that Lebanon, Mount Juliet and Hermatige aint got them....and Hermatige REALLY SUCKS...however anyone looking for the old Winchester supreme they do have those in Hermatige.

Macks Prarie Wings has the best prices and a good inventory on Long Beards. And Gamaliel Shooting Supply has a good supply of them also.

The big story is that just about the complete pattern was inside 14" like others have said and Hevi had a bunch of shot way out side that. No question about it Winchester is the better shell at half the price. I'll be shooting it for sure.

Let's still not forget that lead is still lead and hevi will hit harder. Down range energy should be a higher priority then high numbers. Obviously that's to an extent but should be remembered

Yea, thats right but if its pepper size shot all the way to #2 like some have found in Magblend, I'd rather shoot Winchester. Dead is Dead but I wanna shoot the best out there. Half the price and at least 56 more #6 inside the 10" plate. I'll save my money and shoot the better shell.

I shot the 6's today at 45 yards out of my nova with a jelly head 655..it put 210 pellets inside a 10 inch circle impressive !!! But I had a lot of pellets that where stuck in the card board that didn't pass through !! I m going to stick with the 5's got complete pass through and still had 167 pellets inside a 10" circle !! The 6's worry me with down range energy !! Jmo

I patterned the 3.5" Long Beard #4's today thru my Benelli SBE w/26" barrel and a Jellyhead .655 and put 145 pellets in the 10" circle @ 40 yards. I was very impressed to say the least.

then use #5s because they hit plenty hard
