What's you guys thoughts on this gun.... dad has one and has been talking about selling it and I was thinking about getting it so as to have a lever gun in my safe....?

My brother inlaw has had one as long as I can remember,hunts with it every year I hunted with him,if you heard it go off there was a dead deer on the ground.

I have my Great Grandad's Model 94 in 32 Win Spcl that was made in 1927. I killed my best buck with it and finished off a wounded hog with it. I think it is slightly better than a 30-30 in the field, plus they are making the Hornady Lever Revolution bullets in it now which should make it even better. Give me the serial # with the last 2 digits X'd out and I will let you know the year of manufacture was and what the gun bluebooks. The older ones are worth alot of money.
