Freezer was getting light so I decided to try and shoot a big doe this evening. Been seeing 9-10 every time I go. About 4:15 I look up the field 250 yards and see a deer in the tall grass. Scoped it and see a good rack. He walked 150 yards coming straight to me and would not turn. Then to 100, then 75. He got to 60 and turned just enough before getting behind a cedar. Squeezed off and he jumped straight up then bolted right at me before rolling. Thanked the Lord for this deer right after he went down. Storm started to roll in righ after I got him dressed

I usually don't shake but the closer he got I started to feel a little shaky. I settled down though cause I didn't want to blow it. He's the only good buck I've seen this season.
