i used a recipe that came out of field and stream mag a couple of months so i cant post it, but i can share the link if the mods dont mind.

i did change some things, i used one onion diced and cooked it with the other vegetables, i also substituted 2 small straight neck squash for the butternut squash.

i also brined 1 turkey breast in 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 sea salt, 2qt water, 1 tsp poultry seasoning, and 12 peppercorns. then i browned on both sides in olive oil and threw in the oven for 30-40 min at 350 deg. then sliced it for the pie. i thought the turkey would be tough and it kinda was after i broiled it but another 40 min cooking in the pie tendered it up so nice!!!
