The hardware branded Bayou Chef works just fine for me. I think the pot, turkey lifter, and thermometer were about $80 last year.

I have several, but my favorite one sits in a ring so it can't fall out, and the top is wider than the rest of the pot, so if the grease rises too much it spreads out.
