WilCo Archery Park UPDATE

Does anyone know what's going on with archery park over by the Williamson County Ag Expo Center? I went over there to shoot and all of the targets are gone and the target hanging stations are gone. Just an empty field with a no broad heads sign still hanging.

I just got a reply from Don Hosse, Wildlife Education Program Coordinator with TWRA, this morning. The targets were removed, as they are annually, around the time of the Williamson County Fair. The carnies and other Fair workers use the large flat field to camp while the Fair is taking place. That being said, the archery range should be back up around the middle of August, with new bag targets installed.
