Why is it that no matter where you are that people just can't help but shoot your swings? We had a group of 75 geese working our set up and were cupped flipping and turning in and BOOM BOOM and there they go.
We managed to knock 3 down but we were unable to get to them. Water was too shallow for the boat and the mud was too deep. Made us sick. 2 of them were marginally hit i think and went a LONG way before going down. The other one swam into some grass and i was physically unable to get there. man did but couldn't find it.
Pretty crappy hunt to be honest.
We did get one woodie so it was not a total loss.

That's name of the game on public duck hunts. It can be infuriating
I would have rather they just sit with us than do that. If they would have we all could have killed our limit.

East TN was the worst. I had guys open up on birds that I had on a string as they passed 100+ yards out, on more than 1 occasion. They shot because they could I guess. We heard a few this morning but they had other places to be.

Were you at Crockett? If so if you ever need a mud boat recovery I'm about 10 mins away . I heard Crockett was a circus
