Why was the road hunting thread locked?

Im sure because of the name calling and flaming!
I would really like my turkey hunting from the road question answered. If its illegal, then there are a lot of innocent/ignorant people out there.
For example; You are driving around a large piece of public land or private land on a named road. You stop to get out and locate call a turkey, he gobbles and then you go after him. Is that road hunting?

OK, I will likely get chastised for this but I am truly lost on this issue. FYI...I am not trying to call out this particular poster, actually the post is vague on what they were doing. So lets act like they were driving when they saw the deer the first time. To me its not road hunting FYI.
